Gates Deep Red ProLock gear

The Gates Deep Red ProLock gear allows the use of Nikon SLR / DSLR G-type (electronic aperture) lenses on RED ONE. Jacek Szymczak has created an innovate and finely crafted mount that not only secures Nikon lenses to the camera in a similar fashion to PL mounts, but provides access to iris control via a ring, just like focus and zoom. The iris ring provides positive, smooth and fine control of aperture.
To use the Nikon ProLock in DEEP RED requires a conversion of the iris ring to a gear that allows proper mating with DEEP RED lens controls. Jacek manufactured this gear in a collaborated design effort between them and Gates. It’s an easy and fast installation conversion of your Optitek ProLock mount.
