The Gates Deep Red ProLock gear allows the use of Nikon SLR / DSLR G-type (electronic aperture) lenses on RED ONE. Jacek Szymczak has created an innovate and finely crafted mount that not only secures Nikon lenses to the camera in a similar fashion to PL mounts, but provides access to iris control via a ring, just like focus and zoom. The iris ring provides positive, smooth and fine control of aperture.
To use the Nikon ProLock in DEEP RED requires a conversion of the iris ring to a gear that allows proper mating with DEEP RED lens controls. Jacek manufactured this gear in a collaborated design effort between them and Gates. It’s an easy and fast installation conversion of your Optitek ProLock mount.

This acrylic dome is for replacing the Gates SP25 Standard Port Dome.

The Gates SP44 Replacement Acrylic Dome replaces the Gates SP44 acrylic dome only.

Specifically for use with polymer domes, Novus Plastic Polish can minimize or remove small scratches. Kit includes 2 oz bottles of Novus #1 (for cleaning) and #2 (for fine scratch removal).
